With the ALIF procedure, Joanne and I are hopeful that she will once again have the freedom to tie her shoes, walk without numbness and only have me be the pain in her ass versus the constant back pain she has had for the last 6 years.

In recovery

Just met with Dr. T.... he says everything went well. Showed me the new x-ray with the spine in line and with the disc spacer.  Looks good. JoJo is in recovery now.. will be able to see her in about an hour when she makes her way to her room.
Okay to take a deep breath now! I think we are now on the road to recovery! YAY!

    Great news indeed! I've been thinking about her all day and am glad to hear it went well. I'll let the folks at CPAC now so they'll stop bugging me!

    Great News!!! I have been thinking about her too! So glad things are well and she is heading to her own room!!! Be sure to send us photos of the green hair while she was under Anesthesia!
