With the ALIF procedure, Joanne and I are hopeful that she will once again have the freedom to tie her shoes, walk without numbness and only have me be the pain in her ass versus the constant back pain she has had for the last 6 years.

Medically cleared !!!!!

Joanne had her PCP appointment and had a little funky EKG so was referred to Cardiologist. Thankfully we were able to get into see the cardiologist today.  The cardiologist said that Joanne's heart was strong and no issues. So she is officially cleared for surgery.
MRI completed.. uneventful! :)

Looks like we are now ready to go for surgery on March 2nd.

    So glad she was able to get in to cardiologist and be cleared for surgery so quickly!

    we were very fortunate to get into see a cardiologist same day. He was very nice and told Joanne that she will probably have to come see him now anytime she needs clearance. He said. buy me a cup of coffee and we will chat for 5 minutes! :)
